Spiced Christmas Tree

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

These spiced Christmas trees smell so good and do not require any difficult-to-find materials. They are super easy and fun to make and look really nice on your nature table.

Materials:

  • genuine lamb's wool

  • Pine Cone(s)

  • Whole Christmas Spices (I used cardamom pods, star anise, and all spice - cloves, cinnamon sticks, and orange peel stars would work as well)

  • Hot glue gun and replacement glue sticks

Directions:

  1. Line your pine cone with genuine lamb's wool (snow). Gently insert lamb's wool between the individual scales of the cone.

  2. Using a hot glue gun, attach whole Christmas spices as ornaments. Be careful not to burn yourself as you will be working with small objects and closely to the tip of the glue gun. I used an anise star as my tree topper, cardamom pods as candles, and all spice as ornaments. Orange peel stars (made from simply dried oranges: bake orange slices at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours), cinnamon sticks, and cloves would look and smell amazing, too.
