Orange Spice Candles

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

These super easy homemade candles smell amazingly good and make for a stunning centerpiece.

Materials:

- 2 Naval Oranges

- Beeswax Pellets (I used these)

- 4 candle wicks (I simply removed wicks from tea lights)

- Spices (I used cardamom, cloves, all spice, and cinnamon sticks).

Directions:

  • Cut both oranges in half and remove their flesh with a knife.

  • In a small sauce pan, melt the beeswax pellets over medium heat. Do not let the beeswax boil.

  • Once melted, remove the beeswax from the stovetop and fill each orange to its halfway point.

  • Let dry for 10 minutes.

  • Once dry, place the candle wicks on top of the dried beeswax.

  • Fill each orange with the remaining melted beeswax.

  • Before the beeswax has dried, add spices to the top of your candles.

  • Light your candles only under supervision.
