These nature inspired mandalas are a beautiful Mother's Day gift and are a fast and easy craft that can be used to practice mindfulness in your home.
Materials:
Directions:
Take your family for a walk to collect artifacts to be used for this craft (it is best if the artifacts are FLAT and completely DRY). Artifacts could include leaves, cereals, dry flowers or petals, insect molt, seed pods, seeds, pine needles, bark...)
Open up a thermal laminating pouch and arrange your artifacts in beautiful patterns. You can create a circle, a star, a heart, etc.
Close the thermal laminating pouch. STEPS 4-7 SHOULD BE DONE BY AN ADULT.
Carefully life up your horizontal pouch on both ends and carry it to your laminator.
Before lifting your pouch to place it inside the laminator, apply some pressure to the upper half of the pouch. This will help your mandalas to maintain their shape.
Place the mandala inside the thermal laminator, helping it along as it moves through the slid.
