"Look at this trove, treasures untold. How many wonders can one cavern hold?". Although these mermaid pendants are super easy to make, they appear so delicate that only a real mermaid could have dreamed them up. A wonderful craft to offer at your little one's summer birthday party.
What You Need:
Sea shells
Ribbons
Tulle roll
Beads (I used an old mardigras necklace)
Marbles
Hot glue gun
Directions:
I started by glueing the sea shells to the ribbon necklaces. You could obviously use a drill to drill a hole into each shell, but I simply hot glued each shell to the ribbons. I used beads to make sure that the ribbons are firmly attached to the shells.
Decorate the shells by adding beads, marbles, ribbon scraps, tulle, etc.
If you do choose to offer this craft at a kids' party, be sure to explain the dangers of using a hot glue gun and continue to supervise each child over the course of the activity.
