What you need:
Glue Stick
Scissors
Directions:
Fold a sheet of kite paper in half along its diagonal. You now have an upside down triangle. (image 2)
Fold part of the upper fold downward. This flap will become the wings. (image 3)
Turn your paper around. (image 4)
Take the bottom corner of the top layer and fold it upward. (image 5)
Take the left side of your figure and fold it towards the right until it meets the right side. (image 6)
Open up both sides to create the wings. (images 7 and 8)
Fold one of the pointy end inwards to create a space for the beak. (image 9)
Cut out a small triangle from yellow or orange kite paper and attach the beak with a glue stick. (image 10)
Offset the wings slightly and use a pair of small scissors to cut heart shapes into each wing. (image 11)
Attach small pieces of kite paper to the backsides of each heart. Be sure that the color of the hearts is LIGHTER than the bird. (image 12)
