Use the template to trace 24 gingerbread houses onto the clear backsides of 6 brown paper bags. You should be able to create 4 gingerbread houses per brown paper bag (for a total of 24 gingerbread houses).
Using sharp scissors, cut out each gingerbread house and create folds along each of the the black lines.
Using a white water based paint pen, draw house details onto the front sides of each of the 24 gingerbread houses. Make each house look a little different from the next. Windows, door frames, doors, and roofs can be varied and diversified.
Once all house fronts have been drawn on, use a black Sharpie to write numbers into each of the "front doors" (1-24).
Glue your gingerbread houses together using a glue stick (add the glue to the perforated lines).
Use a hole puncher to punch holes into the roof tops of each gingerbread house. Use thread or ribbon to tie up your houses (alternatively, you could create a little Christmas village by simply placing your gingerbread houses on an even surface.
